Recruitment platforms built for continuity

At Hays Germany, I worked as a Senior Full Stack Developer from March 2022 to April 2023. My application experience included Matchbox Neo, Matchbox Legacy and 3 Story Software. I worked remotely from Thailand with German product, recruiting, business and engineering stakeholders.

Connected recruiting workflows

Candidate, client, vacancy, application and placement workflows formed the domain. An application links a candidate to an opportunity, while a placement represents a later business outcome. Understanding those relationships guided component design and service responsibilities.

My engineering contribution

I developed Angular functionality, Java/Spring Boot services and REST integrations. I contributed system design, maintainable application components and API interactions that translated recruiting requirements into reusable behavior. Frontend and backend work were part of the same delivery responsibility.

Quality and production continuity

I contributed unit, integration and end-to-end tests, regression prevention, documentation and repeatable CI/CD. Defect investigation crossed frontend, backend and integration layers. The aim was to follow the complete user workflow and prevent the same failure from returning.

Evidence and scope

Five workflow domains, three technical layers and three test levels describe my scope; they are not business-performance benchmarks. The supplied ten-page manuscript establishes contribution and application context without claiming ownership of every product capability.

Lessons
